The Thyroid Reset Journey™
Personalised Thyroid & Hashimoto's Support
Your bloods are "normal." So why do you still feel this awful?
If you're exhausted, foggy, struggling with stubborn weight, or just don't feel like yourself — despite being told your thyroid blood tests are "normal" — there may be more to uncover.
As a thyroid naturopath in Pukekohe, I help women with Hashimoto's, hypothyroidism and thyroid dysfunction look beyond symptoms to explore the underlying factors that may be affecting their thyroid health.
Through personalised natural thyroid support, we look at the bigger picture — including nutrition, gut health, liver function, stress, hormones and key nutrients — to help you understand what your body needs to feel more balanced and energised.
Based in Pukekohe and supporting women across New Zealand, my approach is about finding the pieces of the thyroid puzzle that may have been overlooked.

Thyroid Symptoms That Can Be Easy to Overlook.
You've sat in a doctor's office, heard "your results are normal," and walked out feeling more lost than when you arrived. Maybe you've been told it's stress. Maybe you've just started to wonder if this is simply who you are now.
It's not.
Standard thyroid blood tests can provide important information, but they don't always explain the full picture behind symptoms such as fatigue, brain fog, stubborn weight changes, poor sleep or digestive issues.
That's why my approach to natural thyroid support looks at the bigger picture — including thyroid function, nutrition, gut health, liver function, stress, hormones and key nutrients.
You know your body. If something doesn't feel right, it's worth looking deeper.
Thyroid symptoms — even when your blood tests are "normal"
What if you could feel like yourself again?
Hypothyroidism means your body isn't getting enough thyroid hormone. It can cause symptoms such as fatigue, brain fog, feeling cold, constipation and weight changes.
Hashimoto's is an autoimmune thyroid condition where the immune system targets the thyroid. Over time, this can damage the thyroid and is a common cause of hypothyroidism.
Thyroid hormone conversion is another part of the picture. Your thyroid produces mainly T4, which is converted in tissues throughout the body into the more active thyroid hormone T3.
Understanding which parts of your thyroid picture are relevant to you can help guide more personalised thyroid support.
You've sat in a doctor's office, heard "your results are normal," and walked out feeling more lost than when you arrived. Maybe you've been handed antidepressants. Maybe you've been told it's stress. Maybe you've just started to wonder if this is simply who you are now.
It's not.
Standard blood panels are a narrow picture. They're designed to catch disease — not to explain why a healthy woman wakes up exhausted every single day, can't hold a thought, and feels like her body is working against her.
You know something is wrong. You've known for years. You just haven't been given the tools to find it.
These aren't separate problems. They're often the same root cause — and that cause is findable, and treatable." — Katharina Naran
Not a version of yourself that just copes. Not a version that cancels plans and naps through weekends. The version that thinks clearly, moves through the day with real energy, enjoys food without consequence, and wakes up actually ready for what's ahead.
That shift is possible. I've experienced it myself, and I've seen meaningful changes in the women I work with.
When we look beyond individual thyroid symptoms and start building a clearer picture of what may be influencing your thyroid health — including nutrition, gut health, hormones, stress, sleep and key nutrients — we can create a much more personalised path forward.
This root-cause approach to thyroid health isn't about guessing or treating every symptom in isolation. It's about understanding your individual health picture and identifying where your body may need support.
That's what I'm here to help you uncover.
What if you could feel like yourself again?
I know this road. I’ve walked every step of it
I'm Katharina Naran —
Thyroid Naturopath in Pukekohe, herbalist, clinical nutritionist, and the founder of Kat's Natural Solutions.
I pushed through two pregnancies, three kids under five, and a fog so thick I couldn’t even read the parenting books I desperately searched for while trying to survive the endless tantrums that were slowly breaking me.
In 2016, I finally got my answer: Hashimoto's. It had been showing up in blood tests for years. Nobody told me. Once I understood what was actually happening in my body — and removed the triggers that were feeding it — everything shifted. Within four weeks, I was sleeping. Thinking clearly. Present for my kids. Myself again.
After years of training as a naturopath, medical herbalist and clinical nutritionist, I continue to expand my knowledge through ongoing education and research. Thyroid health, Hashimoto's and hypothyroidism are a special focus of my naturopathic work, and I spend a great deal of time learning about the complex factors that can influence thyroid function and overall health.
From my clinic near Pukekohe, I support women locally and through online consultations across New Zealand.

The Thyroid Reset Journey™ — a 12-week clinical programme for women with Hashimoto's and thyroid dysfunction.
This isn't a one-size-fits-all wellness programme. It's a structured, personalised approach to thyroid health — built around your symptoms, health history, test results and your life.
Together, we look beyond the thyroid itself to explore the factors that may be influencing your symptoms and create a clear, evidence-informed plan for natural thyroid support.
How the Thyroid Reset Journey™ Works
Phase 1 — Uncover (Weeks 1–3)
We start by building a clearer picture of what's happening. More comprehensive thyroid testing — including TPO and TgAb thyroid antibodies where appropriate — can provide information beyond a basic thyroid panel.
Phase 2 — Reset (Weeks 4–9)
With your results in hand, we build your personalised thyroid support plan. This may include targeted nutrition, gut-thyroid support, liver function, hormones, key nutrients, stress, sleep and lifestyle.
Rather than addressing everything at once, we prioritise what matters most and introduce support in a structured way.
Phase 3 — Rebuild (Weeks 10–12)
We close with a second antibody panel to measure what's changed, a full results review, and a personalised long-term maintenance plan. You leave knowing your body, understanding your triggers, and equipped to manage your health independently. This doesn't end at week 12.
What's Included in Your Personalised Thyroid Support
Advanced functional testing — two antibody panels (TPO & TgAb) with full results explanation
Personalised nutrition, supplement, and lifestyle protocol built around your results
1:1 clinical sessions with Kat across all three phases
Gut, hormone, liver, and thyroid support
Stress and cortisol management tools
Long-term maintenance plan at programme completion
Direct access of clinical expertise from someone who has lived this
What You May Notice During Your 12-Week Thyroid Journey
Steady, sustainable energy throughout the day — not the 3pm crash, not the bone-deep fatigue
The fog starts to lift — clearer thinking, sharper memory, better concentration
Calmer mood and more stable emotions — feeling like yourself again
Eating without fear — enjoying food without bloating, discomfort, or second-guessing
Waking up genuinely rested — sleeping deeply and waking ready for the day
Weight that starts to move in the right direction as metabolism normalises
Confidence in your body again — knowing what it needs, and how to give it that
Results vary by individual. Kat works with you until you feel better — whether that means more energy to play with your kids, digestive comfort, hormonal balance, or simply getting your life back."
Reviews
"I'd been exhausted for three years and been told my bloods were completely normal. Within six weeks of working with Kat I was sleeping through the night for the first time I can remember. By the end of the programme I'd lost 8kg, my brain fog had almost completely cleared, and I finally understood what had been happening in my body all along."
Rachel - Business Owner I'd been on levothyroxine for two years and still felt awful. My GP kept adjusting my dose and nothing changed. Kat looked at the full picture — gut health, hormones, inflammation — and within a few weeks I noticed a real difference. I wish I'd found her years ago.
Katy - Mum of 3 “I finally feel like myself again. I didn't realise how much I'd been just surviving until I started actually living.

Thyroid & Hashimoto's Support FAQs
-
The Thyroid Reset Journey™ is a full 12-week clinical programme — not a single consultation, not a generic protocol, not a supplement plan you find on a blog. It includes advanced functional testing, personalised clinical sessions with Kat throughout, a fully bespoke nutrition and lifestyle protocol, and a long-term maintenance plan you keep forever.
The total investment is $1,580 NZD — payment options available.
Some health insurance policies may partially cover consultations with a CNA-registered practitioner. Ask Kat about this on your discovery call — she's happy to provide a detailed invoice with her CNA membership details.

No. Many women who come to me don't have a formal diagnosis — they just know something is wrong and haven't been able to get answers. The initial functional testing is often where we find the clarity you've been looking for. Book a discovery call and we'll figure out together whether you're a fit.
-
Yes — and this is one of the most common situations I work with. Standard thyroid panels are designed to catch clinical disease, not to explain why a healthy woman feels terrible every day. Functional testing looks at a much broader picture — including antibodies, gut function, cortisol, and hormone levels — that a standard GP panel routinely misses.
-
Absolutely. Many women in the programme are on levothyroxine or similar medications and still experiencing significant symptoms. This programme works alongside your existing medical care — not against it. Medication addresses one part of the picture. This addresses the rest.
-
Expect roughly 2–3 hours per week across consultations, protocol implementation, and personalised practices. This is designed around real life — busy mums, working women, business owners. It's a commitment, but it's a realistic one.
-
You finish the programme with a personalised long-term maintenance plan and a clear understanding of your own body. The goal is that you leave equipped — not dependent. Ongoing support options are available if you'd like them, but most women leave with everything they need to manage their health independently.
-
We'll confirm this on your discovery call, as it depends on your location and Kat's current intake. Both options may be available.
You've spent long enough not feeling well. Let's find out why.
The discovery call is a free 15-minute conversation. No pressure, no pitch, no obligation. Just clarity — on what might be driving your symptoms, and whether working together is the right fit for you.
If it is, we'll talk about next steps. If it isn't, you'll still leave with more clarity than you walked in with.
Spots are limited each intake. If you're serious about starting, the best thing you can do is book your call now.
